Windows Phone 8

Wow Microsoft. I haven't been wowed by you in a long time. The design of Windows Phone 8 is quite amazing. I have been seriously contemplating getting a new Windows Phone 8 as in when the actual handsets will arrive in the fall this year. I have been weighing the pros and cons for me personally for days now. I keep landing on the decision that I will stay with my Android. That is until I can get my hands on a Windows Phone 8 and test it out myself. The things that I have been torturing myself over are: can I root the Windows Phone 8? when will I see Sketchbook Mobile for Windows Phone? will there be a music locker as good as Google Play available? will there be an RSS reader as good as Google Reader available? will there be as good a selection of games? will there be a manga viewer as good as Mangawhat available? will Nokia Maps be as good as Google Maps? will there be some magical way to do widgets as good as google? Basically I don't see Windows Phone 8 trumping Android... yet. This is a vast improvement for Windows Phone and it comes so close to me ready to impulsively jump ship to Windows for all my ecosystem needs. Anyway I don't see a killer feature that would pull me from the habits and ecosystem I currently live in however the new layout and design of Windows Phone 8 has me taking Microsoft seriously now.
