Sonic VS Mario

5 Reasons Sonic Is No Better And No Worse Than Mario

1) Story:
Sonic: a hedgehog that runs really fast and fights an evil doctor who kidnaps his animal friends. 
Mario: an Italian Plumber who fights an evil dinosaur that kidnaps his Princess. 

2) Special Abilities:
Sonic: turns super saiyan and destroy everything. 
Mario: warps through tunnels, throws fireballs, wears suits to fly, swim, throw hammers, and other random stuff.

3) Level Design:
Sonic: platform while having moments of adrenaline fueled speedy dashes. 
Mario: platform while stomping everything's head in. 

4) Partners:
Sonic: a young fox with 2 tails that lets him fly anywhere and is annoying.
Mario: a taller slower brother who jumps higher and is annoying.

5) Collectables:
Sonic: rings that give him life and extra lives. 
Mario: coins that give him extra lives.


It would seem to me that they are on even playing ground.
