Halloween Joe's Top 25 Cars Of All Time

So my friend Halloween Joe saw my recent post of "The Top 50 Cars Of All Time" and we joked around about him making his own list of top cars. Well here we are and the only criteria for the best cars here is does Halloween Joe like it?

But first a quick little background on Halloween Joe:

My first car was a piece of glory. My 1988 Ford Tempo got the job done in a stylish and efficient way. It was in this amazing charcoal color and came loaded with heat, A/C, and a cassette deck. I was the envy of all of my friends when I bought my first CD-to-Cassette adapter so I could actually play CDs using my portable CD player. Learning how to drive in Michigan, I was thankful for the 4 cylinder engine and that the car was front wheel drive. It was especially fun when the passenger side brakes stopped working and I couldn't stop on the icy roads without fish-tailing or turning completely sideways. Never a dull experience. This car was retired and eventually turned into a demolition derby car after I upgraded to a 1994 Chevy Corsica. This Corsica was great. Burgundy is a great color for a car... really.  This was the first car that I installed a CD deck in. I was living the high-life with my CD player!  I only had a couple thousand miles on it before I let it sit for about a week while it had an oil leak I didn’t realize. I started the car up, made it about a half mile down the road and noticed that I had no oil pressure. This seized up the engine and I was quickly forced to search for a new car. From there, I got a 1998 Chevy Lumina. This thing was a beast! I got admired by all sorts of old ladies who dug my wheels (really… it was an old person car!). I installed 2 15in. sub woofers and new infinity 6x9s’. I turned that car into the ultimate old-lady mobile to the ultimate old-lady with hearing disorders mobile. I drove this car through college and into my first adult job. Now that I was making some money, I decided to let that car go and get something a little new.
I am now in a 2005 Chevy Cobalt. This car is pretty good. I have almost 200,000 miles on it, and it has been more than reliable (knock on wood).  I’ve had to replace almost the entire suspension after 60,000 miles, but so far, that is the only real work I’ve had to put into it.

Alrighty here it is,

Is there anything this car CAN'T do?... I didn't think so.

12
58 Plymouth Fury
This is the car that Christine was modeled after. Ultimate killing machine.

1985 Yugo GV
Features 'carpet' as a standard accessory. Pure Class…. Just don't drive on any bridges.

8
1951 Studebaker Commander
After changing the body style from previous years and taking away unnecessary qualities such as aerodynamics, this Studebaker appears to be smiling at you! Who doesn't like that?!

7

6
1928 Model A Business Coupe
Roll down those mean streets of Chicago with your mob-boss in this classic car. Beautiful design.

3
1996 Buick Funeral Coach/Hearse
This car is to die for! Plenty of room in the back for you and that special someone to cozy up under the stars.

2
Grandpa Munster's Drag-u-la
350HP, Ford Mustang V-8, two four-barrel carburetors. This car was so bad, Rob Zombie wrote a song about it.

1
1956 Chevy Belair Nomad
Chromed-out, fluted roof, American V-8… tons of muscle! The closest thing to a hearse without getting a hearse!

The Top 50 Cars Of All Time

So I have been watching Top Gear U.K. from the beginning on Netflix and I am about half caught up to current episodes and it is simply a treat to watch that show. It brought out the inner Motor Head in me. Forza 4 also brought the raw aggression and exact performance I never thought I would enjoy as I much as I do. It's a simulator to drive the best cars in the world and the folks hosting Top Gear U.K. get to do that for real. So I decided to hit up a few of my friends and we all came up with a "Top 50 Cars Of All Time". So to start off here is a brief background on my friends and I and the cars we have owned.

Mr. M (MM): Vehicles owned: 1989 Acura Legend: Devin the Dude "Lacville '79" explains the car, driver side window didn't roll down, car had two gear on an auto tranny, 1st and 4th, had to climb in through the passenger side, outside driver door didn’t open, 0-60 in eternity. 1997 Nissan Maxima: one of the best cars I ever had, 3500 watt stereo system, 0-60 in about 8 seconds. 1998 Nissan Maxima: didn’t have it long enough to enjoy, wrecked in less than 2 months. 2000 Nissan Maxima: nice car, 5 speed manual tranny, hunter green color, no flaws and in immaculate condition, had this car for over 2 years, wrecked, RIP. 2003 Nissan 350z, loved this car, so much could have been done to this car, gadgets were plentiful with tons of gauges, fast, fast, fast, fun to drive. 2010 Nissan Altima: the most boring car I have EVER driven, 2.5 liter 4 cyl auto tiptronic tranny, this car so boring to drive, I fall asleep on the way home or to work simply due to the no wow factor with this car, not to mention there are a million of these on the road. 1990 Nisan 300zx Twin Turbo: the few times I am able to drive it... FAST, FUN, SCARY!!!.

Joshhwwaaaaaa (J): My first car was a 1986 Chevrolet Celebrity. It had 40k miles on it. It had a V6. It had a radio. It was perfect. Until the carborator failed. Then I got a 1999 Toyota Camry. This was the beginning of mid range luxury that I would come to enjoy. I remember maxing it out going 115 MPH going through Kentucky on my way to Ohio. It took it a long time to get to that speed. Then the motor blew on that after I treated it poorly in cold weather due to my own ingnorance. Then I got a 2004 Nissan Altima. Man the power was a nice improvement over my Camry. I enjoyed that car very much. Then I crashed into an 80's Mercedes going 40 MPH and it totalled my car while not leaving one scratch on the Mercedes. Then I got my present car, a 2003 Honda Accord. It's a very smooth ride and it's on par with the Altima power. So overall this is the best car I've had. Having a 4-Door is very handy for roadtrips. Because of the practicallity of a 4-Door I will always have one. If I had an extra vehicle I would like it to be one geared around performance and pure driving fun. It would most likely be something like the 2002 Nissan Skyline R34, Nissan Skyline GTR 1974, Nissan GTR 2012, Nissan 300ZX, Honda NSX, or Honda S2000.

The Wolf (TW): I’ve been driving my whole life towards one thing or another but I first got behind the wheel of a vehicle on my own at the age of 11. It was a yellow Ford Courier truck with a 4 banger and 4 speed. I was helping the old man move logs around the yard but kept stalling it out when I came to a stop. Determined to prevent this from happening, I punched the gas on my last attempt and promptly put the truck through a 3 rail fence that I had to end up repairing and painting on my own. Fast forward to February 1989 when I got my learner’s permit. I must have put 10,000 miles on the old man’s truck as we would go driving every single night. It was a Chevy S-10 extended cab 4x4 with the 4.3 liter motor. Man was that a step up from the Ford. Lots of power, air conditioning, power steering,  automatic transmission and the coolest digital dashboard. When I wasn’t driving that I was honing my skills on a 1986 Chevy S-10 blazer with the 2.8 liter v6 and a 5 speed manual. When that wasn’t available I was driving what would become my very first car; a 1977 Datsun 280z with the 2.8 liter inline 6 and 4 speed manual. 1990 couldn’t come fast enough. When my 16th birthday rolled around I was there at the driver testing center before the place opened. After passing my test on a manual transmission I was finally mobile. The Datsun 280Z was a hell of a car to drive. It was fast, sporty, and solid black. It was a piece of shit though as all Z’s are. I also had a calling and it was for a 4 wheel drive vehicle. In the fall of 1990 after months of exhaustive searching and test drives I found what I still call my dream car. It was a 1982 Jeep CJ-7 Laredo. The Jeep came with the 4.2 liter I6 and was equipped nicely for a Jeep. This meant carpets, factory clock, factory tachometer, 4 speed manual, dashboard pad, locking console, swing away spare tire carrier. I had no idea what I was getting but for 3000 bucks I thought it was the most expensive car ever. This was back when minimum wage was 3.35 an hour. I drove that Jeep all over Nashville and 4 wheeled it on a weekly basis. I’d sadly have to say goodbye to the Jeep in 1992 when I left for college. Skip to 1995 and the next car I owned. For 3 long years I didn’t own a vehicle. I’d owned a mountain bike and it was my only means of transportation throughout my college years. Then at the age of 21 I took all the money I had and put it down for a 1995 Acura Integra that I bought off the lot. It was the first brand new car I’d ever owned and I thought the world of it. It was black, fast, good looking, and would serve me well over the next 7 years. Near the end I lowered it 1.5 inches, put 17” racing wheels on it, a short shifter, and was planning on a supercharger. Once again though the true call came and I answered it. In 2002 I needed a truck. I’d run through a 1986 S-10 4x4 4 cylinder I’d bought and fixed. This truck cost me 200 bucks and about 1100 in parts and labor to bring it back to damn good shape. Unfortunately I Hooned this truck to the point of death. Many late night runs through the woods at 30 mph had removed most of paint, mirrors, and body panels. I needed something else and bought a brand new Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab off the lot. It had a V8, was full sized and had the love it or hate it styling that I still love to this day. I’ll never get rid of this truck unless I buy another full sized truck. The Ram came detuned from the factory but I’ve fixed this with a ported and polished throttle body, a superchips engine programmer, hotter plugs, and 93 octane only fuel.

Alright so now you know a little about us and the cars we have had. Now we need to look at what things we consider when we think about a list that is "The Top 50 Cars Of All Time".

1.) Can you as a normal person buy this car and drive it on the road?

2.) Is the car beautiful and luxurious enough for you to drool all over it?

3.) Is the car a beast with raw horsepower?

4.) Does the car stick to the track like glue and perform like a god around the track?

5.) Is the car cool and or nostalgic?

Okay it's time to proceed forward with the list for

"The Top 50 Cars Of All Time!"

..........................................................
50

MM: Ford Mustang SVT COBRA 2001
Why is this last… because it’s a ford… and it aint a GT40.

J: American Motors Corporation Gremlin 1978
It was a tie between this and the Pacer but the Gremlin made it through by a hair. Think about the balls they had to go ahead make this car fully knowing how awful it was. I guess that stands to reason why AMC only stuck around for a few years. I can't help myself with the design I love it.

TWVolkswagen Beetle
Iconic little rattletrap that made car driving affordable for millions of people. Cheap, easy to work on air cooled motors that to this day are still rattling the jaws and bones of enthusiasts and Baja off roaders everywhere. I think they made a billion of these ghastly but practical cars.

..........................................................
49

MM: Honda Civic SI 1999
The things you could do to this car should have been illegal… that’s right they are in some states.

J: Chevrolet Chevette 1986
One of the worst cars ever made but just like the Gremlin I can't help myself I love the design. I may just hang up that grill in my living room. Everyone has their guilty pleasure.

TWAudi S8 2003
Big, bad, and understated styling make this car the ultimate sleeper. To look at it you’d never know there might be a 10 cylinder motor under the hood that will eat your import tuner alive. This Audi changed the way we looked at the nondescript German automaker. Oh and it was prominently featured in Ronin, one of the best films ever.

..........................................................
48

MM: Acura Integra GSR 1998
Who didn’t want one.

J: Volkswagen Beetle 2012
I guess I'm just a sucker for German design because just tweaking the old Beetle body made it look masculine and very attractive.

TWHonda Accord any year.
Quite possibly the single best vehicle ever imported and later assembled in America. Fuel efficient motors, responsive manual and automatic transmissions, comfortable for 4 people and affordable. Yes this car met all the criteria the market demanded and it delivered and still delivers today.

..........................................................
47

MM: Volkswagen R32
The little Veetle that could.

J: Mazda MX-5 1989
This car made racing and the need for speed accessible to everyone.

TWFord Thunderbird 1957
The car was the answer to the Chevrolet Corvette and had the looks and power to match. Unfortunately Ford went the wrong way with this car after 1957 and just turned it into something a geezer would drive.

..........................................................
46

MM: Toyota MR2 1998
200 hp in a car that weighed around 1.5 tons… power to weight ratio is outrageous and fun to drive. Mid engine for the 50/50 weight distro allowed it to handle like nobody’s busniess.

J: Mitsubishi GTO 1997
Similar to the 300ZX this is another version of a poor man's Porsche.

TWMercury 49
Ahh the 49 Merc. The quintessential lead sled. The post war coupe that is still prominently featured in movies, videos, and featured as the title of country music songs (Alan Jackson Mercury Blues).

..........................................................
45

MM: Lexus SC300 1998
A luxurious Supra with no turbos.

J: Nissan S30 1969
This is one of my favorite body designs.

TWFerrari Enzo
No list of the 50 best cars would ever be complete without the Enzo. Quite possibly the best Ferrari ever built. Not the sexiest as the 360, that wins that title but certainly the best in horsepower and handling.

..........................................................
44

MM: Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 1998
All wheel drive 300 hp twin turbo car made by the same folks who made the EVO.

J: Ford Mustang GT 1993
For $2,000 you can have a decent dragster that has the most unique look the Mustang has ever had.

TWCadillac Series 62 1952
While we are on the subject of Caddy’s I had to include this one. Also I needed a car from the 50’s that I actually like. This one of the only cars from the 50’s that appeal to me. The bullet tips on the bumpers were just enough to set this car out from the crowd before the horrible tail fin era of 50’s cars hit. Another reason I love this car is because Hank Williams Sr. had one.

..........................................................
43

MM:  Mazda RX7 Spirit R Type A 1995
A 1.3 L rotary turbo charged enige pumping out near 300HP in a car that weighed less than 3,000 lbs. You do the math.

J: Buick Regal Grand National 1987
Who was the mad scientist who decided to throw all of that power into a Buick?

TWCadillac Eldorado 1967
This is the finest example of the Eldorado nameplate. It had great styling and the 1970 year was available with the legendary Caddy 500 V8. This Caddy was truly revolutionary for the company.

..........................................................
42

MM: Suburu WRX STI
Made to drive everywhere with no regard to terrain or speed.

J: Chrysler 300C SRT8 2008
If only they could match the performance of what you would think this car would do from just looking at it. And it wouldn't take much to do it either.

TWLexus SC400 1997
The iconic Japanese sports coupe that turned heads wherever it went. A beautiful design that had many young girls begging their parents for one for their 16th birthday. Not many have survived the low production numbers but it still turns heads to this day like a graceful aging supermodel.

..........................................................
41

MM: Mitsubishi EVO
Made to drive anywhere quickly. Rally car made to run the streets.

J: Dodge Challenger 1970
They made some amazing designs for cars back then and this one was just about perfect.

TWNissan Skyline R34 1999
Nissan always had a penchant for building cool cars but they kept the really cool ones for the Japanese market. Fortunately tuners there put turbos on these I6 powered cars and made them unstoppable. A few suspension mods and you had a street car that was to be reckoned with. Even in stock form these cars were sleek and fast.

..........................................................
40

MM: Honda S2000
Can't deny its place.

J: Chevrolet Corvette 1953
The Genesis of the Corvette and the start of American car culture.

TWNissan Maxima 1990
The original 4DSC which stood for 4 door sports car. The prior generation Maximas were boxy angular things that had good power but no style. Then in 1990 Nissan gave the world a more powerful, better appointed performance sedan with all kinds of cool features. Remember the ‘heads up’ display? Google it.

..........................................................
39

MM: Pontiac GTO
Pontiac's last and worthwhile hoorah! Damn this was a beast!

J: Dodge Charger 1969
It's really hard to not fall head over heals for classic American muscle.

TWAcura TL Type S 2005
You could flip a coin between this car and the IS 300 and get the same result. Both are bad boys with true sports enthusiast guts. Plus there are 4 doors for the young family. Would love to autocross these two.

..........................................................
38

MM: Buick GNX 87
American muscle that properly tuned is a killer in the drag scene.

J: Ford Sierra Cosworth 1987
A diamond in the rough and hugely popular in the U.K.

TWLexus IS 300 2001
Ahhh the Toyota Altezza. It had love it or hate it tail lights but the performance of this mid sized rocket ship was what drew loyal enthusiasts to this car. 6 speed manual, 3.0 liter responsive V6, sharp styling. I still want one of these.

..........................................................
37

MM: Toyota Supra 97
The Fast and The Furious.

J: Chevrolet Impala 1958
Too much culture and history and awesomeness to not include this car.

TWCadillac DTS 2011
Full sized luxury from the premier US automaker. Classic American luxury car of the true patriot. The full sized Cadillac stands the test of time and continues to as years go on.

..........................................................
36

MM: Audi RS4
Beauty and the beast got together to have this little fine monster running amok.

J: Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo 1996
A manufactured sleeper. I'm surprised this car was even made.

TWDodge Viper 1994
Completely unorthodox for its time and turned the hot rod world upside down. People thought Detroit was dead and then Dodge came out with a V10 2 seater coupe that would snakebite your ass if you didn’t pay attention to the raw power. And they gave it a cool name.

..........................................................
35

MM: BMW 850
BMW’s 90’s ultimate driving machine. Underrated with a stock V12 5.6 L

J: Mazda RX-7 1997
Why was this formula not followed for the RX-8?

TWLamborghini Murcielago
One of my all time favorite Lambo’s. It could be because it was a great car to drive in Need for Speed 3. Or it could be the fact that it came after the Diablo. Nah it is because it reminds me of a young, stunning Carla Bruni.

..........................................................
34

MM: BMW M3 CSL
BMW’s ultimate bang for the buck plus its stylish and fast.

J: Ford Mustang 428 Cobra Jet 1969
Fast and classic. What else needs to be said?

TWPorsche GT3
I don’t care much for Porsches but I love this one. The high performance 911 gets me every time.

..........................................................
33

MM: Nissan 300zx TT 96
Ahhh the best car on the list… the poor man’s Porsche. The car that put sports cars in reach of the common man with the reliability of a Honda… what more can you ask for… twin turbos on V6 3.0 L matted to a 5 speed gearbox… in the 90’s… with T-tops… in heaven… this car was WAAAAYYY ahead of its time and will burn most affordable sports cars of today on straight away or a track.

J: Honda S2000 2003
This is a better version of the MX-5 basically.

TWTesla Roadster
An all-electric masterpiece. 240 miles to the charge, Lotus Elise styling. Just freaking cool. Too bad they are 100k because I’d buy one tomorrow.

..........................................................
32

MM:  Acura NSX
Only sports car Acura ever made.

J: Porsche 911 1963
The original German design. It will probably never lose its appeal and never need a major design change.

TWMaserati Granturismo
Possibly one of the most beautiful sports cars ever produced. If Sophia Loren were a car, she would be the Granturismo.

..........................................................
31

MM: Tesla Roadster
Electric Sports Car c’mon!

J: Toyota Supra 1999
After being only the fourth person on the planet to have their 99 Camry's engine totally fail, Toyota has left a bad taste in my mouth. However, this car just looks too damn good and tons of potential to tweak it into super fast territory.

TWLamborghini Diablo
A refined version of the quintessential 80’s Super Car, the Lamborghini Countach. There is no mistaking the exhaust note from the Lambo.

..........................................................
30

MM: Lotus Espirit '98
If looks could kill, this one wouldn’t kill anything… British sports car that is outstanding.

J: Subaru Impreza WRX STi 2004
Same thing as the EVO but a hair slower around the track.

TWChevrolet Impala SS 1964
You know it, you love it. Why did Chevrolet bring this nameplate back in the 4 door form for police departments?

..........................................................
29

MM: Mercedes Benz C63 Black Series
Ridiculous car… fast, agile, heavy, and luxurious.

J: Mitsubishi EVO IX MR 2006
Basically I like to think of this as a very affordable rally car that performs amazingly well as I'm sure you do too.

TWMercury Cougar 1969
A rebadged Mustang but with some real style to it. The front end conceals headlights and the B pillars are unmistakable.

..........................................................
28

MM: Volkswagen W12 Nardo
VW attempt at the perfect Super Car. A W12 configuration for an engine with much promise.

J: Cadillac CTS-V Coupe 2011
Cadillac couldn't have made a better choice by appealing to younger people while maintaining their current clientele.

TWNissan 300ZX 1991
One of the best Z’s Nissan built before they quit bringing them over to the US. This was the last real Japanese sports car that had twin turbos, all wheel steering, responsive handling, and was affordable. Later versions of this car reached 40 grand and people with that kind of money told Nissan to keep it. Thankfully the Z is back but I’d love to see a new Z with the same features as the early 90’s models.

..........................................................
27

MM: Jaguar XJ220
As much as Jaguars suck balls, this one was right up there with any other sports car. Fast, wide and stable.

J: Dodge Challenger 2011
Mean modern American machine.

TWBMW M3 2001
This was one of the best looking M’S ever built. It was powerful, had a true manual transmission with a clutch, had gobs of power and was rear wheel drive. They got it right with this one.

..........................................................
26

MM: Lexus LFA
Other than price, Japanese innovation at its best.

J: Dodge Viper 1996
Stunning handling for an American rear wheel drive.

TW: Cadillac CTS-V
A true enthusiasts car that smokes tires and any competitors at the country club.

..........................................................
25

MM: Jaguar XJ13 1966
Jags perfection of the era.

J: BMW M3 2012
I felt I needed a BMW on my list and this was the one I went with as the performance is excellent and the best body design.

TW: Cheverolet Camaro LSA 2013
The body style of this car is a love it or hate it design. However the horsepower produced from the supercharged V8 makes up for any shortcomings.

..........................................................
24

MM:  Lamborghini Miura 1966
Lamborghini’s perfection of the era.

J: Lamborghini Countach 1988
A blast from the eighties that might as well be immortal.

TW: Ford GT
This car revived the American muscle car movement. Without it there would still be V6 powered, ahem, “Sports Cars” from the U.S. This was the shot in the arm the big 3 needed to get back to what guys wanted.

..........................................................
23

MM: Mercedes SLR
One of the fastest cars (if not the fastest) that Mercedes ever made.

J: Ferrari Testarossa 1984
The Golden God of the eighties and nineties this Ferrari is a pure joy to look at.

TW: Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR
As much as I hate MB this one had to make the list. The supercharger intake is the hood emblem. How fucking cool is that? A 500,000 dollar MB that is the only redeeming vehicle this company produces.

..........................................................
22

MM: Ferrari Enzo
Sexy and fast. Road car for the speed demon.

J: Audi R8 LMS 2009
Great performance and a unique design.

TWChevrolet Corvette Z06
I don’t really need to explain this one. It would spank Italian Super Cars. The Heartbeat of America.

..........................................................
21

MM: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport
Fastest car confirmed to date.

J: Nissan 300ZX 1990
The ultimate poor man's Porsche as Mr. M put it.

TW: Toyota Supra 1997
Most Supras were simply amazing cars in turbo form. They were always good looking but the last generation brought to the U.S. really got it right. Beautiful design, powerful motor, even more powerful when you got all the detuning out of it from the factory.

..........................................................
20

MM: Lamborghini Countach
Lamborghini instant classic Super Car.

J: Ford RS200 Evolution 1986
This is a wonderful rally car that looks like an RC Car you can get in.

TW: Acura NSX 1991
These were affordable supercars and they were fast and sexy. 3.2 liter V6, mid rear configuration, amazing in red.

MM: Ferrari 512 Testarossa
Instant classic. Dr. Dre has one of these thanks to the FBI.

J: Nissan Skyline GTR 1974
This is pretty much the ultimate in nostalgia for me.

TW: Subaru Impreza WRX STi 2004
Everyone was asking for this car and Subaru listened and brought it stateside. The first generation had those love it or hate it headlights and the instantly identifiable blue paint and gold toned trim. This car was greased lightning. If you never got to ride in one you need to. It would hold its ground with motors twice its size.

..........................................................
18

MM: Saleen S7 2005
American Supercar that looks mighty nice.

J: Wiesmann MF3 2012
Great German Roadster, better than a Mazda MX-5 and Honda S2000 as it should be at a much much higher price.

TW: Buick Grand National 1987
Unstoppable V6 powered turbocharged sleeper. This car would eat your lunch and then go and fuck your sister.

..........................................................
17

MM: Koenigsegg CCXR 2007
Fast… Very Fast… and it looks great.

J: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 2009
American torque at its finest even though it is one giant piece of plastic.

TW: Ford Police Interceptor
A true workhorse of a vehicle. Probably one of the most, if not the most, identifiable vehicles. How many times have you been hauling ass down a road and seen one of these and hit the brakes? I’m saddened the last one rolled off the line this past year.

..........................................................
16

MM: Audi R8
Audi’s attempt at a Super Car and it handles mighty nice.

J: Aston Martin DB9 2012
I told myself I had to get at least one Aston Martin on this list and there is a reason Top Gear has a section on the Cool Wall to itself.

TW: Lincoln Continental 1961
Suicide doors, massive 462 cubic inch V8, presidential motorcade car, convertible top. This car is iconic and the styling still holds up today. Just plain cool.

..........................................................
15

MM: Porsche Carrera GT
Only one of the fastest Porsches ever built.

J: Honda NSX-R 2005
Honda's only Super Car and my oh my does it have some sweet body design.

TW: Plymouth Superbird 1970
This was a hell of a concept car that made it to the dealer lots. Basically a NASCAR automobile that was street legal. 440 cubic inches of V8 power, the first ridiculously large wing on a car, and a sexy snout with hidden headlights. Yeah I love this car for all of its campiness.

..........................................................
14

MM: Lotus Exige
Small package with a HUGE punch. Will beat the brakes off most.

J: Nissan GTR 2012
Ultimate bang for buck we you want to take down that Ferrari or Lambo or just about damn near everything else.

TW: Oldsmobile Cutlass 442
Do you even know what 442 stands for? Nope not the engine displacement. 4 on the floor, 4 barrel carburetor, 2 exhaust pipes. It’s a shame Oldsmobile is out of business. This would make a hell of a reissued muscle car.

..........................................................
13

MM: Dodge Viper SRT10 2006
I wont deny it... It’s a straight rider… you don’t wanna… wait we are talking about one of the most awesome cars to ever come out of Dearborn?

J: Ferrari GTO 1984
It's hard to not have a love for the eighties when looking at this car.

TW: Acura Integra Type R 1998
This was a hot little car when it first came out. It was J-Spec’d with hot components, a higher revving 1.8 Liter 4 cylinder that redlined at 9000 RPMS, and ushered in the import craze of the early 2000’s.

..........................................................
12

MM: Corvette ZR1 2012
Most bang for the buck… Super Car performance for less than 120K.

J: Nissan Skyline R34 2002
This is the perfect body design of any car.

TW: Jensen Interceptor 1974
This car is a little known gem amongst enthusiasts. It had the beauty and refinement that was inherent to British cars. The interior was appointed with bucket leather seats front and back, burlwood dash and trim, needle style gauges, and a big console. To top it off they used a Chrysler big block with a torque flite 727 3 speed automatic.

..........................................................
11

MM: Lamborgini Aventador
Possibly Lamborghini’s best creation to date

J: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 2009
This will inevitably be on the top lists for everyone until we can legally put rockets on our cars.

TW: Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser 1970
Big block V8 power, available manual transmission. Skylights so the kids had another view out the window at the passing airplanes. It pretty much satisfied the entire family. Dad got power and sporty features. Mom rode in comfort. Kids could sleep in the back on roadtrips.

The

..........................................................
10

MM: Pagani Zonda
Fast car and looks space age.

J: Jaguar XJ220 1992
Never thought I would put a Jag up on my list here but good lord this car is a performer.

TWChevy El Camino SS 1970
I’ll take mine in black with white racing stripes. The working man’s every car. Haul supplies to the job site during the day and then take your woman out for a night on the town.

..........................................................
9

MM: Ford GT40 1966
First real American Super Car.

J: Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren 2010
The only Mercedes worth a damn.

TW: Dodge Charger 1968
The second car in the Bullitt chase scene. 440 cubic inch Magnum V8 rated at 375 horsepower. It was big, fast, and intimidating especially in Jet Black. Why did Chrysler make this a 4 door when it returned in the mid 2000’s.

..........................................................
8

MM: Ferrari F40 1987
Original supercar

J: Lamborghini Aventador 2011
Lambos have my favorite designs and the performance of this machine is no joke as it was a second or two behind a Bugatti Veyron in a drag.

TW: Ford Mustang 1968
The car that appeared in Bullitt and the classic car chase through San Francisco. Possibly one of the coolest cars built. 390 cubic inch V8, 4 speed manual transmission, louvered B pillars, and driven by the King of Cool Steve McQueen.

..........................................................
7

MM: Nissan GTR 2011
Set the Nurburgring record lap time at stock in wet conditions and its Japanese

J: Koenigsegg Agera 2011
Who knew the Swedish liked cars as much as the Italians?

TWPontiac GTO 1966
The world owes a lot to John DeLorean and this car was his masterpiece. Unfortunately he is only known for the car that bears his name. The 66 Goat is a coveted example of classic American muscle and the design holds up today. Too bad Pontiac is out of business. A modern day retro styled GTO would fit nicely with the Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger.

..........................................................
6

MM: Nissan Skyline Z-Tune 2002
Ultimate Japanese driving Machine.

J: Lotus Evora 2009
The pinnacle of Lotus at the moment and a lovely body design.

TW: Ferrari 360
Stunning beauty. Simply stunning. The supermodel of the exotics. Sexy, sleek, tight body and crazy as a loon.

..........................................................
5

MM: Porsche GT3 2011
All around performance from handling, to reliability, to speed, to style

J: Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 2011
German rear mounted motor that goes ridiculously fast and they haven't had to change the styling once because they got it right the first time.

TW: Pontiac Firebird 1978
Yep it’s the Bandit. 6.6 liter big block V8 and bad ass graphics that let the drivers around you know you are about to jump their sorry asses at the first closed bridge. Where’s my black cowboy hat with the feather bandana?

..........................................................
4

MM: Shelby Cobra 427 1966

No top roll bar and a 427 cubic inch motor to run down on that ass even to this day.

J: Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster 2009
Lots of performance to match its flash.

TW: Dodge Challenger SRT-8 2011
The rebirth of Chrysler muscle. 392 HEMI, 400+hp, Naturally Aspirated, 6 speed manual, rear wheel drive. Yeah it’s a panty dropper.

..........................................................
3

MM: Lamborghini Diablo 1990
First production car to officially break 200mph

J: Ferrari Enzo Ferrari 2002
More or less the perfect Ferrari.

TW: Buick Riviera 1969
Go ahead and make fun of it. You’ve never driven one or ridden in one to understand the power and luxury this coupe had to offer.

..........................................................
2

MM: Ford GT500 1967
Eleanor... Nuff said.

J: Lamborghini Diablo VT 1995
If the performance of this car could out do the McLaren I would have made this my number one choice. And I absolutely loved picking this car on Need For Speed 3 which by the way the soundtrack to that game I would put in my "Top 5 All Time Game Soundtracks".

TWAC Shelby Cobra 1961
Revolutionary car from the King of Muscle Carroll Shelby. 427 7.0 liter V8 motor shoe horned into a Brit roadster. No matter where you go the Cobra turns heads to this day. Not bad for a 50 year old vehicle.

..........................................................
1

MM: Mclaren F1 1997
Definition of Ultimate Driving Machine

J: McLaren F1 GT 1997
This car has the best mix of handling, speed, class, and on it's way to being fully nostalgic.

TW: McLaren F1
Anyone who does not put this as #1 is a jackass and knows nothing about cars. Kiss my ass if you don’t like it. You are a damned fool who will go home in his Kia Forte tonight and jerk off to images of Sigourney Weaver.

There you have it ladies and gentlemen.
